DEEP DOWN

Deep down below the surface of everything I know
you are waiting
for me
to lead me
guide me
fill me.

Yet I see darkness
I see flashes
everything all at once
blurring
swirling.

I am lost

I am scared

I cannot stay

I know you're there but I sense too much
it's all in me
I cannot breathe
